8. Int. NEXT Facade Summit: Outstanding architecture in an international context

Aljaž PetehAktualno

How can future-oriented building envelopes be planned and realized in a global context? What challenges do architects and planners face in international building and façade projects?

Find out this and more from four renowned experts from international architectural firms – up to date and at first hand.

Dr. Christian Bergmann is Partner and Head of Architecture at Hadi Teherani Architects in Hamburg. The architecture of the world-renowned and award-winning architectural firm is characterised by a holistic approach, urban sophistication and high-quality design.

Lars Ostenfeld Riemann is Executive Director at Ramboll. The globally active engineering, architecture and consulting company sees itself as a passionate ‘driver’ of sustainable change – decarbonisation, circular economy and biodiversity are important building blocks in this.

Sander Troost is an Associate Partner at gmp Architects. The philosophy of the office, which is based in Hamburg and has other locations worldwide, is to design architecture in such a way that it endures in terms of content and time – always taking into account issues such as urbanisation, digitalisation and climate-friendly construction.

Juergen Heinzel works as Associate Design Director and Senior Architect at UNStudio in Amsterdam. The mission of the architectural design network, which is represented at seven locations worldwide, is to design healthy and sustainable cities – with little impact on the environment but a positive effect on people.
